前報に続いて、木質燃料を有効活用する手段の一つとして、薪ボイラーシステムの性能の検討を行った。木質燃料を利用する場合において、使用する器具の性能は重要な指標である。そこで本報では、システムの違いによる性能の比較として、熱効率の算出による器具の性能を求めることを目的とする。今回その結果、薪ボイラー自身の効率として、屋外型の場合、熱効率は平均32.1%であり、室内型の場合は52.4%であった。
