Description

The purpose of this study is to extract the knowledge of instruction from teachers when they teach students how to solve problems.We have designed an intelligent trainig system for teachers which has a capability of acquiring the knowlege of instruction (the instructional knowledge for problem solving) from teachers through the process of teaching.The system invokes TMS technology to maintain a model of teacher's believe about the student's state of knowledge.The appropriateness of instruction can be evaluated according with the model.If the teacher doesn't agree with the evaluation, then the system trys to identify teacher's intention of the instruction.In this paper, we discuss a method of extracting knowledge of instruction from teachers in this system.
