Description
There are two main categories for the small-signal analysis method of a switching converters, which are methods based on averaging technique and methods based on discrete time representafions. The use of averaging techniques has advantags of easy handling of equations and speedy computation.Though,it has disadvantage in accuracy when it analyzes high frequencies above 1, 10 of switching frequency. On the other hand, the method based on discrete time representation can analyze frequencies higher than switching frequency accurately.Though,it requires huge computation time to obtain the characteristics of very low frequencies compared to switching frequency. This paper proposes a new method to accelerate the calculation of small signal characteristics in the low frequency for the method based on discrete time representation. This method can analyze accurately in high frequency and speedily in low frequency.
