Description
Direct-conversion receiver for reducing cost of wireless communication device is studied. Direct-conversion receiver causes IQ imbalance(IQI) by quadrature error which is caused by quadrature down-converter missmatch between In-phase component and quadrature component. Direct-conversion system also causes carrier frequency offset(CFO) which is frequency error between transmitter oscillator and receiver oscillator. In this paper, We conduct performance evaluation of π/4 DQPSK direct-conversion wireless communication system which includes compensation CFO & IQI and compliants with ARIB STD-T61.
