Description
A video is a continuous image stream. Thus, the meanings for a part of a video depends on the contents and alignment of video images. It is important to identify the sequence of video images which has continuity of both semantics and syntax, in order to retrieve the scene. This paper describes how to retrieve a scene by semantic relationships and syntactic continuity of the video using a time-stamped authoring graph and cinematography or film editing.
