Description

This paper presents high throughput data link layer processing methods.The paper shows that the communication ability of data link layer processing LSI depends not only on the processing amount but also on process scheduling.The paper proposes a process scheduling method for information transmission and acknowledgement and that for information receiving process for bursty packets.
