Description

Concerns for the hazards of artificial turf fields have been raised on multiple occasions in various kinds of scientific reports. This review of the reports published from 2010 to 2016, resulted in a significant number of studies evaluating the hazardous implications of crumb rubber used as infill on artificial turf fields. In this review, these studies identified hazards that could be divided into two parts : inorganic effects and organic effects.
