iBunchin: The Paperweight Makes Your Handwriting Fun!

Description

We propose the paperweight-like device "iBunchin". When you take a note, iBunchin identifies which the end of a brush-stroke ("stop", "hook" or "fade") performed in real-time, and play the sound effect corresponding to each end of a brush-stroke. By using the sound effect is heard almost simultaneously with the writing, it made writing by hand fun. It is expected that reducing the pain when you write a large number of characters, for example, filling out a resume by hand, or practicing dictation of Chinese characters. We confirmed that iBunchin can identify the end of brush-strokes correctly at a high rate through the efficiency evaluation.
