Description

An ICT-based educational system using the touch panel equipped smart phones linked with a dataserver was developed, and practical educational studies were carried out. The purpose of this systemis to train the practical English communication skill for prospective international engineers by honingEnglish QRP(Quick Response Performance), which is a key performance to grasp and digest anyEnglish words as they are in English without any translation. Studies were carried out for students in1st to 5th year class of our college, and all data accumulated into a data server were analyzed in termsof their response time and correct answer rate. The results revealed the English learning process interms of the accuracy and speed to grasp the meaning of English words depending on the word level.According to those results, we believe the system developed on this study has been proven to beuseful for practical educations as well as an examination tool for students learning behaviors.
