Description

The electron-impact induced fragmentation of eleven substituted benzimidazoline-2-ones, five indazoline-3-ones, and 3-hydroxyindazoles have been studied by conventional mass spectrometry including high resolution mass spectrometry. Although basic fragmentation patterns of these three series of compounds were similar to each other, the substituents on the nucleus were found to alter the fragmentation patterns somewhat.
