The aim of this work is to extend the proposed NMPC approach for multi-step predictive control of nonlinear SISO processes. The calculation method will be derived for multi-step predictive control of a nonlinear SISO process. Then the proposed approach will be examined by applying it to two well-known control problems (a first-order, irreversible, exothermic reaction carried in a continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR); a first-order, reversible reaction carried out in a CSTR).
