Optimization method for B/H ratio determination taking occlusion effect and MTF degradation due to atmosphere into account
説明
Proposes a method for the determination of optimum base/height ratio (B/H) in digital elevation model estimation with stereoscopic viewing using nadir and off-nadir optics. The method takes the occlusion effect and the modulation transfer function (MTF) degradation due to the atmosphere into account. It is found that B/H can be optimized if the mean and variance of the terrain and atmospheric parameters are given, assuming a Lambertian surface model. >
