Microwave Tomography Using Transmission Line for Forward Problem
Description
In the inverse scattering problem that estimates the complex permittivity distribution of the object, the target permittivity distribution is repeatedly updated, and the full wave electromagnetic field analysis is executed each time. When the target is large and the operating frequency is high, the amount of calculation required for electromagnetic field analysis becomes enormous, and it takes a long time to recover the image. In this paper, instead of electromagnetic field analysis, we propose a method to reduce processing time by using transmission line model. We have confirmed that we can estimate the permittivity and conductivity of a layered structure model by experiment using the proposed method, so we report the outline.
