CDMA multi-user receiver composed of de-correlating detectors with reduced noise enhancement effect

説明

A de-correlating detector (DD) is a powerful device that can eliminate interference in CDMA multi-user detection. However, it shows considerable noise enhancement effect in the process of solving the de-correlating matrix (DM) equation. A new DD is proposed whose DM consists of pilot response itself. Additional techniques such as using spreading sequences with guards and inserting dummy pilot responses into DM are adopted. This DD indicates a function that significantly reduces the noise amplification, resulting in remarkable performance improvement.
