Direct force control with linear pulse motor
説明
A linear pulse motor (LPM) can operate in an open-loop control mode similarly to a rotary stepper motor, and therefore serves as an effective positioning actuator when used in conjunction with digital electronic control circuits. The linear motion without any mechanical linkage in the LPM results in several advantages for precise positioning actuators. In this paper, a direct force control system with the cylindrical LPM is proposed and force control responses are examined in detail base on experimental and simulated results. It is clear that the force response similar to the force command is realized by the proposed system in spite of the simple strategy. >
