A design method for bending-insensitive single-mode holey fibers

We propose a novel design method for bending-insensitive single-mode holey fibers with a mode field diameter of 9 /spl mu/m, a small allowable bending radius of 6.4 mm, and a cutoff wavelength of 1.24 /spl mu/m.
