A relaxation method for getting the steady-state responses of nonlinear circuits
Description
An efficient algorithm is presented for finding the steady-state responses of stiff nonlinear circuits. It is based on a frequency-domain relaxation method that can be efficiently applied to obtain the steady-state waveforms of both periodic systems and multifrequency-component systems. The solution at each iteration is obtained by solving an associated linear time-invariant circuit via modified nodal analysis at every frequency component. This algorithm is very simple and can be applied efficiently to solve communication circuits. >
