late (38%) (p 0.101). The mean number of detected adenomas per patient was also not affected by procedure delay. Even when adjusting for individual endoscopist median delay times, the ADR was still similar across quartiles of procedure delay (ADR from lowest to highest delay quartile: 35%, 31%, 31%, 37%, p 0.397) . Conclusion: In this large multi-endoscopist study we did not find that procedure delay affected adenoma detection. Even when endoscopists are behind schedule and presumably under time pressure they still perform a meticulous examination with no impact on adenoma detection.
