<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>The new oxygen‐deficient perovskites of title are prepared by reaction of (Sr<jats:sub>1‐x</jats:sub>Ba<jats:sub>x</jats:sub>)FeO<jats:sub>3‐δ</jats:sub> (x = 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9; δ ≤ 0.5; obtained from stoichiometric mixtures of SrCO<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>, BaCO<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>, and Fe<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O<jats:sub>3</jats:sub> at 1473 K in air for 48 h) with an excess of CaH<jats:sub>2</jats:sub> at 593 K for 3—14 d (0.4 ≤ x ≤ 0.9) and NaH at 413 K for 3 d (x = 1.0).</jats:p>
