説明
Abstract 1. 1. An egg white homologue (ovomacroglobulin, which is abbreviated as OMG) of serum χ 2 -macroglobulin previously purified by us from Crocodylus rhombifer was shown to inhibit thermolysin and tadpole collagenase but not the collagenase of Clostridium histolyticum . 2. 2. The gel electrophoresis under denaturing and reducing conditions showed that the former two enzymes cleaved the subunits of OMG in a similar manner as chymotrypsin and trypsin did. The bacterial collagenase did not, however, cleave OMG at all.
