説明

Abstract Growth retardation of patients with congenital heart disease depended on the severity of the disease. Reduced urinary hydroxyproline was found in some pateints with congenital heart disease, when a comparison was made employing age-matched controls of the corresponding sex and also on a basis of body surface area. After corrective operation, it was evident that the rate of increase in urinary hydroxyproline was larger than that in body surface area in all cases observed.
