Relationship Between Temperature Elevation and Spatial Average SAR in Japanese Human Head Model Due to Dipole Antenna

説明

This study investigated the relationship between temperature elevation and spatial average SAR (specific absorption rate) in a Japanese head model due to a dipole antenna. Much attention is paid to the effect of averaging mass on the relationship. As a main result, SAR averaged over 10 g of tissue was better than that of 1 g for correlating with temperature elevation. The rationale for this was explained in terms of Green's function for the bioheat equation.
