Development and relaxation of creep-induced anisotropy in nano-crystalline Fe-Cu-Nb-Si-B ribbons

In this paper, we investigated the development and relaxation processes of the creep-induced anisotropy. The creep induced anisotropy of a ribbon was relaxed by exposing the ribbon at 723 or 843 K without stress in a N/sub 2/atmosphere. In order to investigate relationship between the crystallisation process and the development of anisotropy, the electric resistivity /spl rho/ and the anisotropy field H/sub A/ were measured as a function of the annealing time, t/sub a/.
