Nonuniform electric field vector distribution in a dielectric liquid using optical measurement system with parallel processing

Description

We have investigated the measurement of nonuniform electric field vector distributions in liquid dielectrics using the optical method based electrooptic Kerr effect. Our reconstruction technique of the electric field distribution has a merit that the strength and the direction of the electric field at each position can be known. But the method had a problem of a measurement time. So we developed a new optical system that could measure reconstruction data simultaneously from three directions. Using this system, we measured continuous electric field distributions.
