<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>This paper describes a 3‐D display that can express differences between depths at extended distances of over a hundred meters for moving observers using artificially generated motion parallax and differences in pattern sizes. The experimental results demonstrated that the depths of images at long distances could be exactly perceived.</jats:p>
