Optimization of Operation Conditions of All-Optical Switches Based on Intersubband Absorption Saturation
説明
Ultrafast and highly efficient intersubband-based all-optical switching has been investigated. Through an analysis of absorption saturation, optimization of pulse-duration, signal delay-time, and downsizing of absorptive region are shown to be crucial for highly efficient operation.
