Estimation of transmission line parameters by adaptive inverse scattering

Description

An adaptive inverse scattering for estimation of transmission line parameters is presented. In order to reduce estimation errors caused by noise in measured data, we analyze the error propagation of inverse scattering with a layer-peeling algorithm and propose an iteration of the layer-peeling algorithm with adaptively reconstructed input signal waveforms. The error reduction is achieved by trying to reduce error propagation to 0 based on the error analysis. Numerical simulations show that the proposed method can improve errors.
