Environmental impacts evaluation of electricity grid mix systems in four selected countries using a life cycle assessment point of view

The life cycle inventory (LCO dafa of fhe elecm’c power generation plays a vitul role on LCIs of the industrial productr. However there are no formal life cycle assessmenf &CA) studies in Indoneria so far due to limited number of LCA expertise and lack of suflcient databases relevant to domestic conditions. Therefore, the aim of fhis study is, firsfly Io introduce life cycle assessment &CA) method for Indonesian elecm’c power generation system, and, secondly to estubliFh LCI &fa for elecm’cig grid mix of Indonesia compared with three selected counfries, Japan, Thailand and Chino. Finally, to anulyze and Io investigate the environmental burdens for fhese four selected counm’a from a Ire cycle impocf assessment (LCU)point of view using theproposed LaNETS (Numerical Eco-load Total Standard) method. As the results, fhe LC4 evaluations are discursed for fiher ecological improvement.
