Robust comparison between state feedback-based speed control systems with and without state observers in resonant motor drives
Description
This paper discusses robust comparison between state feedback-based speed control systems with and without state observers in resonant motor drives. It begins by proposing a robust state feedback-based speed control system for torsional vibration suppression in two-mass resonant motor drives which can be designed by taking into consideration stability condition and frequency response wave shaping. It also compares robust stability between state feedback-based speed control systems with and without a state observer. The /spl mu/-analysis is here applied to evaluate robust stability due to motor plant parameter variations.
