A proposal of avatar language with Lifo for communication through linguistic barrier

説明

We propose a new "avatar language" that can be used for avatars to communicate in cyberspace when there is no common language. An avatar language is a non-verbal language based on facial expressions, gestures, the eyes, and information of the model (the avator). The proposed language is closely related to sign language. As with spoken languages, sign languages also demonstrate national difference in structure. We developed a CG animation of sign language using the Lifo language, which is a descendant of the Lisp and Forth language families. The result is a high-speed interactive system for the design and display of sign language animations.
