1) Development of ChE synthesis observed after plasmapheresis was found throughout the hepatocyte. 2) Increase in G-6-Pase activity of hepatocyte treated with alloxan was different from that treated with cortisone in distribution and localization. This finding suggests that G-6-Pase may be synthesized in r-ER and it may be s-ER to relate to carbohydrate metabolism. 3) In the hepatocyte injured by CC14, s-ER was increased and most of G-6-Pase and ChE activities were localized in the increased s-ER. This phenomenon seems favorable to maintaining the metabolism in the injured hepatocyte.
