説明
Abstract 1. 1. In rat submandibular gland, tricarboxylic acid cycle enzymes were fully developed in 35-day-old rats 2 wk after weaning. 2. 2. Pyruvate dehydrogenase was very low in 7-day-old rats, and fully developed at 35 days. 3. 3. 3-Hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase activity was high from neonate to aged rats, but it showed a gradual decrease with the growth of rat. 4. 4. Distribution and the activity of creatine kinase in mitochondria showed a rapid increase with the development of rat. 5. 5. Creatine kinase and adenylate kinase activities were modified by thyroidectomy and adrenalectomy. 6. 6. The types of fuel used for energy production may change with the development of rat.
