Cooperative personal projection using multiple DLP projectors

Description

In this poster, we propose a novel interaction concept called "cooperative personal projection", which relies mainly on the Digital Light Processing (DLP) color-wheel timing and short-exposure cameras. This concept combines recently popular single-projector personal-projection interactions with conventional multiprojector cooperative interactions, enabling several users to share their personal projections in a collaborative manner. By extending this proposed concept to multiexposure cameras and pro--cam coaxialization, we introduce a robust alternative for the real-time detection and identification of the geometry of overlapping projections in multiprojector scenarios that requires minimal computation.
