Electrical source estimation in the human brain associated with auditory evoked magnetic fields using traveling source model
説明
In neuromagnetism, it is important to estimate electrical sources in the brain from the spatial distributions of magnetoencephalographic (MEG) activities over the head. Here, the authors investigate an estimation of traveling electrical sources which represents the propagation of neural excitations in the human brain. The results show that the sources of auditory N100 and Pa travel in the adjacent area in the auditory cortex. It is suggested that two auditory neural excitations with different latencies propagate same or neighboring neural pathways in the auditory cortex.
