A Study on Adaptive Modulation of OFDM under Middleton's Class-A Impulsive Noise Model
説明
An adaptive modulation in OFDM transmission is an effective scheme in order to increase transmission rate. In order to perform adaptive modulation, the transmitter must transmit allocation information of modulation schemes in the packet header in order for the receiver to demodulate symbols correctly. If this information is huge, transmission performance is degraded. In order to solve this problem, an adaptive modulation scheme in OFDM that makes less allocation information transmission is proposed. In this paper, the proposed scheme is examined under the Middleton's class-A impulsive noise model based on the statistical characteristic of the impulsive noise and its transmission performance is analyzed.
