Optimization of static concentrator photovoltaics with aspherical lens for automobile

In this paper, we optimized the basic aspherical lens for automobile using optical method. Since the panel is installed in horizontal, the distribution of incident angle that is important to concentrator optics design needs to be newly defined. By optimization of lens structure, the optical efficiency increased to 46.7%.
