Ultra-wideband tellurite/silica fiber Raman amplifier and supercontinuum lightwave source for 124-nm seamless bandwidth DWDM transmission
Description
We present over 120-nm-bandwidth optical elements; hybrid tellurite/silica fiber Raman post/inline amplifiers, a supercontinuum source, and an interleave filter. Using these elements, 124-nm-seamless bandwidth DWDM transmission (313 /spl times/ 10 Gbit/s, 160 km) is successfully conducted.
