Description

The intention of this brief report is to introduce a method for generating virtual images that makes use of a form of sound field whose spatial complexity is less than that produced by existing methods. The method can be implemented in practice extremely effectively and preliminary results suggest that it may have many practical benefits, including an increased robustness in respect to head movement and, of course, the ability to site both transducers used for reproduction within on compact cabinet
