Abstract 1. 1. Ion channels of silkworm moth antennae were incorporated into a planar lipid bilayer and investigated under voltage-clamp conditions. 2. 2. Ion channels with elementary conductances of 33 and 100 pS in 100 mM K+ and 67 pS in 100 mM Na+ were recorded. 3. 3. Kinetics of the channel with conductance of 100 pS was investigated.
