Raman Amplification Properties of Ultralow Loss Photonic Crystal Fibers
Description
A full-vectorial finite element method is used to investigate Raman amplification performances of ultralow loss photonic crystal fibers. More than 10 dB of net Raman gain can be achieved regardless large scattering losses.
