<jats:p>A new N, S containing porous polymer is reported, which showed excellent Hg<jats:sup>2+</jats:sup> (3106 mg g<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup>) CH<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>Hg<jats:sup>+</jats:sup> (691 mg g<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup>) uptakes.</jats:p>
