説明
Abstract 1. 1. The alkaline phosphatase in the intestinal mucosa from fresh-water-adapted and sea-water-adapted eels was purified. 2. 2. Total and specific activities of this enzyme were higher by three-fold in sea-water-adapted than in fresh-water-adapted eels. 3. 3. There was little difference in properties between these two enzyme preparation. 4. 4. It appears that the adaptation of the eel to sea water enhances the production of an alkaline phosphatase in the intestinal mucosa.
