Torque control of IPMSM to avoid voltage saturation
Description
This paper presents the current control for the vibration torque reference of an Interior Permanent Magnetic Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) to avoid output voltage saturation of the inverter under the reduction of copper losses. The current control point for the constant component of the torque reference is determined from the references of the speed and constant torque to avoid the voltage saturation. The current reference during the period of the torque vibration is derived on the control point. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified by experiments.
