説明
To conduct micro-tasks, microscopic images are indispensable. Of course, the primary function of the images are observation. The images, however, can execute some other advantageous functions to micro-tasks. In this paper, the authors introduce an operation system utilizing the images actively for micro-assembly, namely an 'image-driven operation system (IDOS).' The IDOS acts as a hidden operation agent which mediates between the operator and the micro-tasks. In the function of the IDOS, user interface, layered image database, automatic repositioning are constructed and confirmed.© (1996) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
