Summary<br> This data record provides details of the data supporting the claims of the article: “Wide Field Light-sheet Microscopy with Lens-axicon Controlled Two-photon Bessel Beam Illumination”, which proposes simple illumination optics, a lens-axicon triplet composed of an axicon and two convex lenses, to generate longer extent Bessel beams, towards broadening applications of two-photon excitation in light-sheet microscopy. Type of data: custom-built two-photon excitation digital scanned light-sheet microscope possessing the beam full width at half maximum of 600–1000 μm with less than a 4-μm waist when using 10× illumination lens and ~2-3-μm axial resolution Subject of data: cellular dynamics over the whole body of medaka fish Data The data underlying the related article are contained in the zipped folder ‘DataSubmit.zip’, which is openly available as part of this figshare data record. The zipped folder contains a hierarchical sub-folder structure, which is listed briefly below. Further details on the images in each sub-folder are provided in the Word file ‘DataInfo.docx’. 1.
