Description

CERN-LHC. Measurement of proton-tagged dielectron and dimuon production via photon fusion in proton collisions at a centre-of mass energy of 13.0 TeV. The data sample after event selection, collected during 2017, has a total integrated luminosity of 14.6 fb-1 with 19 candidate electron pairs and 23 muon pairs. The cross sections are measured in this fiducual region is defined as: - PT of electrons > 18 GeV - PT of muons > 15 GeV - ETA of electrons: |eta|<2.47 - ETA of muons: |eta|<2.4 - PT of dilepton system < 5 GeV - acoplanrity of dilepton system < 0.01 - dilepton mass > 20 GeV AND ( dilepton mass < 70 GeV OR > dilepton mass 105 GeV) - (xill+ > 0.035 GeV AND xill+ < 0.08) OR (xill- > 0.035 GeV AND xill- < 0.08)
