Research Abstract
We examined the planning and evaluation of ethics training for hospital nurses. We conducted a questionnaire survey on ethical training, moral sensitivity, ethical behavior of hospital nurses, and received answers from about 1,000 nurses. Descriptive statistics, tests, correlations, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, and multiple comparisons were conducted. More than 90% of participants needed ethics training, but only 77% participated. Ideal training time was 60 minutes, and the content consisted of mostly lectures and case studies. At the same time, an interview survey was conducted with seven people in charge of ethics training, and as a result of analysis, the issues of ethics training were securing training time and prioritizing the theme.Training consisted of the examination of familiar ethical cases. As for the evaluation, there were various efforts at each facility regarding the evaluator, evaluation items, and evaluation method. Further examination was required.
