Research Abstract

本課題では、申請者が実験動物や培養細胞を用いた生物学的実験によって明らかにした「妊娠母体の摂取栄養素と産仔の肥満・肥満症の素因(エピゲノム異常)との相関」について、GUSTO (Growing up in Singapore towards Healthy Outcomes) および S-PRESTO (Singapore Preconception Study of Long-Term Maternal and Child Outcome)の出生コホートデータベースを活用することで、疫学研究(ヒト)を主体とした検証を行い、妊娠母体が摂取する栄養素が制御する経世代エピゲノムを必要十分に実証する。
