Research Abstract
本研究では、細胞質でのタンパク質間多価相互作用によるp62 bodyの形成（細胞質液―液相分離）、p62 bodyによるストレス応答（細胞ホメオスタシス）、オートファジーによるp62 bodyの選択的分解（プロテオスタシス）を取り扱う。この未踏の“細胞質液滴による生体防御機構”を研究代表者独自のアプローチで切り拓くことにより、我が国がリードしてきたオートファジー研究を新たなステージへと飛躍、発展させるとともに細胞質液―液相分離が制御する新たな学術領域の開拓に繋げる。
