Research Abstract

細胞内における液－液相分離現象とは、ある特定のタンパク質・生体分子からなる「液滴」が細胞内に生じる現象であり、細胞機能の制御に重要な役割を担っている。選択的オートファジーはそれらの液滴の代表的な分解機構であるが、その生理的意義はほとんど不明である。本研究ではユビキチン化タンパク質を含むp62液滴をモデルとして、液滴を標的とした選択的オートファジーの生理機能を解明する。本研究により、選択的オートファジーの生理機能についての包括的理解が進むことが期待される。
